Insurance

All goods are stored at the storers sole risk.

The facility owner accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury to the storer, storer goods or any other person on the facility.

You should take out adequate and reasonable insurance to protect your yourself against loss, damage or injury.

Options

Please satisfy yourself of the best method of insurance.

Contact your existing insurance provider if they insure goods in storage. Not all existing insurance policies provide self storage cover.

A good tip is to contact your insurer BEFORE the goods are moved to storage. In some instances, you may need to amend the value of the cover.

Always insist that an ENDORSEMENT be made to your existing policy to show the Self Storage facility as a new LOCATION OF RISK.

Ask that you be sent in writing an updated policy.

In some circumstances, the self storage facility may provide insurance. But remember, all goods are stored at the storers sole risk.
